Ph. Erkan Kaptanoğlu

Prof. Erkan Kaptanoğlu is a highly respected neurosurgeon with extensive expertise in brain and spinal surgeries. After graduating from Istanbul University and completing a residency at Ankara Numune Hospital, he pursued advanced training in the UK and Canada. He has held key academic positions, including Full Professor at Near East University and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Marmara University. 

With a prolific research background, he has published over 100 scientific articles and contributed significantly to the field of neurosurgery, particularly in spinal cord injuries and complex surgical techniques. Prof. Kaptanoğlu remains actively involved in clinical practice, providing exceptional care to patients while advancing neurosurgical knowledge through education and research.
