Jane was a fantastic help for my anxiety. She was recommended to me by a relative and I immediately liked her proactive and upbeat approach. I felt that there was a plan in place straight away which made me feel hopeful that I would get better. I liked the homework in between sessions which I found useful in keeping me on track and made me feel I was actually doing something to make myself better. I work in the NHS and Jane seemed to have a lot of experience in helping healthcare workers and she understood the stress that we are under.
It didn't take long for me to start feeling much better- I had about 12 sessions and steadily improved, and I now feel pretty much back to normal (before I saw Jane I didn't always think this would be possible!) I now have a much better understanding of anxiety, can recognise it's subtle signs and have ways of managing it. I honestly can't believe how well CBT works.
