Meet Dr. S. Larry Schlesinger, MD, FACS, a distinguished plastic surgeon with over three decades of experience based in Hawaii. With a remarkable record of over 20,000 successful procedures, he was honored as the Hawaii Medical Association’s Physician of the Year for Community Service in 2000.

Dr. Schlesinger's philosophy emphasizes the profound impact that one's appearance can have on their overall well-being. He believes that aesthetic plastic surgery empowers individuals to reach their highest potential, fostering a positive outlook on life. Drawing from a diverse medical background, including burn units, trauma surgery, and cleft lip repairs, he has found his true calling in aesthetic plastic surgery. His greatest satisfaction comes from helping individuals redirect their focus from self-doubt to cherishing meaningful moments.

Dr. Schlesinger's educational journey took him from the University of Michigan for premedical studies to the Medical College of Virginia, where he graduated as the highest honor student. He completed surgical residencies at Stanford University Medical Center and the Oklahoma Health Science Center, where he now serves as a visiting professor of surgery.

He is a proud member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, a distinguished group of board-certified cosmetic surgeons. Additionally, Dr. Schlesinger holds the title of Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and an Active Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Achieving active membership in ASPS required rigorous training, board exams, and earning the trust of peers through proven expertise.
