Prof. Dr. Murat Bozkurt

Prof. Dr. Murat Bozkurt embarked on his medical journey at Ankara University, where he laid the foundation for his illustrious career. After completing his medical education, he pursued specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Dokuz Eylül University, earning the prestigious title of "Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist." Seeking to expand his knowledge and expertise, he ventured abroad to Aarhus University in Denmark, where he actively participated in joint surgery operations and engaged in groundbreaking research activities at the Orthopedic Research Laboratory.

Upon returning to Turkey, Prof. Dr. Bozkurt's professional journey unfolded across various esteemed institutions. He commenced his career as an Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist at the Emergency Aid and Traumatology Hospital, later advancing to similar roles at Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. With his exceptional skills and dedication, he ascended to significant leadership positions, serving as the Chief of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic at Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital, Etlik Specialization Training and Research Hospital, and Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Prof. Dr. Bozkurt's passion for education and research led him to academia. He joined Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine as a faculty member in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, where he also assumed the role of Head of the Department of Musculoskeletal System and Regenerative Medicine.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Prof. Dr. Bozkurt's influence extends globally, particularly in the field of joint surgery. He founded the ArthroSchool training platform, organizing numerous courses and training programs focused on joint surgery. His expertise has been sought after internationally, with invitations to speak and train at prestigious meetings, congresses, and courses in countries such as the United States, Germany, and Italy.

Currently, Prof. Dr. Bozkurt continues to make significant contributions to the field of orthopedics. He operates a private clinic, where he provides personalized care to patients, while also dedicating part of his time to serving at Acıbadem Ankara Hospital. Alongside his clinical practice, he remains committed to advancing orthopedic knowledge and training the next generation of orthopedic specialists.
