Dr. Muhammed Fatih Evcimik, born in 1978 in Konya, completed his education at Malatya Science High School in 1996, and began his studies at Istanbul School of Medicine (Çapa) the same year. Following the attainment of his medical degree, he fulfilled his mandatory service at Bursa Orhangazi State Hospital from 2003 to 2004. He then pursued his residency in otolaryngology at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Teaching and Research Hospital between 2004 and 2009.
In 2005, Dr. Evcimik relocated to Dusseldorf, Germany, where he worked at the Otolaryngology Clinic at Heine-Heinrich University, actively participating in surgeries alongside Prof. Dr. Henning August Bier. Subsequently, in 2006, he undertook a Research Fellowship at Rush University in Chicago, USA, collaborating with Prof. Dr. Michael Friedman in the otolaryngology department. Throughout and after his education, he attended numerous scientific conferences both in Turkey and the USA.
Between 2009 and 2010, Dr. Evcimik completed his mandatory post-residency service at Malatya Beydağı State Hospital. Additionally, he underwent specialized training in head and neck surgery, thyroid surgery, and otology-neurotology through programs offered by the NET society, encompassing two years of hands-on experience with cadavers.
From 2010 to 2014, he served at Private Nisa Hospital, and in 2014, he assumed the role of Assistant Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Istanbul Medipol University School of Medicine.
In 2017, he attained the title of Associate Professor in Otolaryngology and commenced his role as an Associate Professor in the same field at Istanbul Medipol University. In 2022, he was honored with the title of Professor by the university.
Over the past five years, Dr. Evcimik has been invited as a guest speaker to more than ten national and international scientific meetings. With a dedication spanning 16 years, he has exclusively focused on otolaryngology, successfully aiding numerous patients worldwide in regaining their health.
In 2006 and 2007, Dr. Evcimik was at the forefront of introducing and implementing techniques such as balloon sinuplasty in sinus surgery and palatal implants for the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea in Turkey.
In 2015, he completed a course in robotic surgery in Marburg, Germany.
Dr. Evcimik has contributed several articles to various national and international scientific journals, and is an esteemed member of the Turkish Medical Association, Istanbul Medical Chamber, Turkish Otolaryngology Society, and Turkish Rhinologic Society.
