Ph. Tahir Öğüt

Prof. Dr. Tahir Öğüt, born in 1967 in Ankara, graduated with honors from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. After completing his Orthopedics and Traumatology specialization at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1997, he gained extensive experience in foot and ankle surgery. Prof. Öğüt further enhanced his expertise by training in Italy, the Netherlands, and Duke University in the USA. He became an Associate Professor in 2005 and a full Professor in 2011. 

A pioneer in his field, Prof. Öğüt has authored over 50 international reference articles and contributed to prestigious surgical texts and videos. He has been specializing in foot and ankle surgery since 2000, with 80-90% of his cases focusing on this area since 2007. Actively involved in renowned medical associations such as EFAS and AOFAS, Prof. Öğüt continues to treat patients and train future surgeons, with a focus on advanced foot and ankle surgeries, particularly arthroscopic techniques.
