Ph. Samet Yardımcı

Prof. Samet Yardimci, MD, is a distinguished specialist in Obesity and Metabolic Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, and General Surgery. After completing his medical education at Ankara University, he gained significant experience at Haydarpasa Numune Training and Research Hospital. He furthered his expertise in cancer surgery and organ transplantation at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Hermann Hospital in the U.S.

In 2012, he became Turkey's youngest gastrointestinal surgeon and played a key role in establishing organ transplantation and inflammatory bowel disease surgery units. An active educator, Prof. Yardimci has lectured at Marmara University and trained many surgeons. He is widely recognized for his contributions to bariatric surgery, receiving multiple awards, including "Best Young Researcher" by the International Transplant Congress.

Prof. Yardimci is fluent in English, a prolific author in his field, and has presented at numerous international conferences. He is also a member of several prestigious surgical societies. He is married and has one child.
