He has conducted scientific studies on stem cell transplantation and end-of-life care for cancer patients, and has over 90 publications and presentations. He is a member of several medical associations and speaks German and English fluently. He also teaches classical guitar, conducts research on the effects of music on human health, and has translated works from German and English into Turkish. He is married with two children and currently works in medical oncology at Istanbul Okan University Hospital.
