Professor Dr. Mehdi Zoghi completed his medical education at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. His journey in cardiology commenced with specialized training at the Department of Cardiology, Ege University Faculty of Medicine, where he attained expertise in the field and completed his specialization in 1995. His commitment to cardiology was evident as he continued to serve in the same department from 1995 to 2000 as a Specialist Cardiologist. From 2000 to 2003, he advanced in his career, assuming the role of Assistant Professor within the department, showcasing his dedication and passion for the field.
Throughout this substantial tenure, Dr. Zoghi accumulated invaluable experience across various specialized domains within cardiology. He actively contributed to the field through his involvement in Interventional Cardiology Laboratory, delving into complex procedures and novel techniques. Additionally, he made significant strides in the realms of Electrophysiology and Pacemaker Laboratory, showcasing his multifaceted skills. Dr. Zoghi's contributions were also instrumental in departments addressing heart failure and transplantation, enriching his comprehensive understanding of cardiological intricacies.
In 2003, Dr. Mehdi Zoghi achieved the title of Associate Professor, marking a significant milestone in his career journey. From 2010 onwards, he continued to advance in his profession, earning the distinguished title of Professor, signifying his immense contributions, dedication, and expertise in the field of cardiology.
Presently, Professor Dr. Mehdi Zoghi holds the esteemed position of "Chairman of the Department of Cardiology" at Ege University Faculty of Medicine.
