With a prolific career spanning various academic and clinical roles, he has held positions at Selçuk University and Bakirkoy Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital.

His expertise includes gastric cancer, bowel cancers, breast cancer, and laparoscopic procedures, and he has participated in advanced international training, such as robotic surgery and liver cancer treatment techniques. With numerous publications and active memberships in professional organizations, Prof. Dr. Aygün is dedicated to advancing surgical care and improving patient outcomes. He currently practices in Bakirkoy, Istanbul, providing comprehensive surgical services to his patients.
