I was born in Konya Ereğli in 1957. In 1976, I enrolled at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, where I completed my medical degree in 1982.
During my medical education, I also had the opportunity to gain experience abroad, spending the months of July and August in 1981 at the University of Bergen's Department of General Surgery in Norway. After completing my medical degree, I served as a general practitioner at Istanbul SSK Küçükçekmece Dispensary from 1982-1984 as part of my compulsory service.
In 1984, I passed the Specialty Exam in Medicine, ranking third in Turkey in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I then underwent specialized training at Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Hospital from 1985-1989. After completing my training, I served as a Women's Diseases and Obstetrics Specialist at Elazığ Military Hospital from 1989-1990 as part of my military service.
