Education and Training of Op. Dr. Tolgahan Alpaydin:
He attended primary school in Ankara from 1977 to 1982 before moving to Gazi High School in Karşıyaka, İzmir, from 1982 to 1985. Following that, he continued his secondary education at Atatürk High School in Alsancak, İzmir, from 1985 to 1988. In June 1994, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Ege, School of Medicine, in Bornova, İzmir.
His educational journey took a specialized turn when he pursued Hand and Microsurgery Education at the Private Hand and Microsurgery Hospital in Kahramanlar, İzmir, from 1997 to 1999. In 1997, he participated in the Plastic Surgery Organization's 1st cosmetic surgery course in İstanbul. He furthered his expertise by conducting a study with Dr. Ayhan Gülgönen and Dr. Türker Özkan in the Hand and Microsurgery Department of the American Hospital Plastic Surgery Clinic in İstanbul in 1999.
In the year 2000, he embarked on a significant chapter in his career by undertaking a Fellowship study with Dr. Maria Siemionow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Plastic Surgery Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Simultaneously, he conducted a study with Dr. J. Zinns in the Cosmetic Surgery Department of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Plastic Surgery Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Finally, in November 2000, he participated in the Advanced microsurgery course at Gülhane Military School of Medicine (GATA) in Ankara.
