Dr. Taha Sönmez, an Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist Operator, hails from Erzurum. His academic journey began with honors during his primary, secondary, and high school education in Erzurum. He subsequently pursued his medical education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine from 2007 to 2013, earning the title of medical doctor.
Dr. Sönmez's specialization in Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery commenced at Istanbul University, focusing on a diverse range of areas such as aesthetics, microsurgery, congenital anomalies, burn treatment and surgery, facial fractures, hand surgery, tissue transplants, head and neck surgery, neuromuscular transplants, and both operative and non-surgical aesthetic surgery.
In 2018, Dr. Sönmez achieved the prestigious title of Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist through the presentation of his experimental study thesis, titled "EVALUATION OF ISCHEMIC DAMAGE USING SINGLY AND COMBINEDLY PENTOXYPHYLINE AND N-ACETYLcysteine IN THE RATS INFERIOR EPIGASTRIC ISLAND FLAB VENOUS ISCHEMIA MODEL." This marked a significant milestone in his career, highlighting his dedication to advancing the field.
Post-education, Dr. Sönmez pursued specialized training at Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital, focusing on vaser liposuction, rhinoplasty, breast aesthetics, facial and body aesthetic shaping, as well as both male and female aesthetics, encompassing both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
