Op. Dr. Murat Gürel

Op.Dr. Murat GÜREL, originally hailing from Ordu, was born in 1975 in the picturesque town of Balıkesir/Edremit. His academic journey took him from the vibrant city of Konya for primary education to Samsun for secondary and high school, where he honed his intellectual abilities. During his educational pursuits, he showcased his remarkable mathematical prowess by clinching a commendable third place in the fiercely competitive Black Sea Region Mathematics contest organized by Tübitak.

Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Murat GÜREL embarked on a transformative journey at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, where he immersed himself in the intricacies of the medical field from 1994 to 2000. His thirst for knowledge and dedication to his craft led him to begin his assistantship training in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Department of Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2006. Throughout this period, he made notable contributions to the field, authoring numerous esteemed national and international articles.

In the subsequent years, from 2008 to 2009, Murat GÜREL furthered his expertise in various specialized areas, including rhinoplasty, breast aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, cleft lip and palate procedures, and a wide array of flap surgeries at Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.

Between 2009 and 2012, he delved into complex maxillo-facial surgery cases at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, culminating in the completion of his doctorate. Following this extensive period of academic rigor, he assumed a pivotal role in the province of Aksaray, where he dedicated himself to the provision of essential medical services, serving as the Responsible Physician of the Department of Aesthetic Surgery. During this time, he undertook numerous transformative aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of his patients.

Beyond the realm of medicine, Murat GÜREL finds solace and adventure in the embrace of nature. He boasts a CMAS 3-star diving certification, a testament to his passion for exploring the underwater world. Additionally, he has a keen interest in paragliding, soaring through the skies with a sense of exhilaration and freedom. During his time at Hacettepe University, he also delved into the world of theater, gracing the stage in the acclaimed play "İYİ" at Ankara Şinasi Stage State Theater for a memorable year.
