Güncel Öztürk, a Turkish plastic surgeon born in Istanbul in 1979, has always been immersed in art, thanks to his sculptor father. His upbringing in an artistic environment sparked a lifelong passion for aesthetics and artistry, which would later define his career in plastic surgery.
After graduating from Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty at Istanbul University in 2003, Öztürk felt drawn to plastic surgery, seeing it as an opportunity to blend his medical knowledge with his artistic talents. His decision to specialize in plastic surgery was further solidified when he excelled in the Examination for Specialty in Medicine (TUS) and secured a coveted spot in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery department at Istanbul University.
During his six-year specialization, Öztürk had the privilege of studying under the guidance of renowned surgeons, including John A. Persing, MD, FACS, at Yale University. This experience not only honed his surgical skills but also deepened his understanding of the artistry behind procedures like rhinoplasty and facial aesthetics.
In 2007, Öztürk furthered his education at the University of Miami, where he focused on refining his skills in rhinoplasty and mamoplasty. Armed with a wealth of knowledge and experience, Öztürk completed his specialization and became a Plastic and Aesthetic Surgical Specialist.
Öztürk's dedication to his craft has earned him accreditation from prestigious institutions such as the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association. Today, he is known for his innovative techniques and artistic approach to plastic surgery, transforming lives through his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to enhancing natural beauty.
