About Us

With over twenty years of experience and about forty thousand surgical cases, Dr. Ülkü Çiçek is a dedicated Ophthalmologist Surgeon providing exceptional patient care at ÜLKÜ ÇİÇEK EYE Clinic. Dr. Çiçek graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and began their specialization at the Ministry of Health Ankara Hospital Eye Clinic. They completed their compulsory service at Çorum State Hospital and went on to work as an ophthalmologist in various hospitals in Mersin from 2001 to 2021.

Dr. Çiçek is well-versed in general ophthalmology, medical retina, infant and child eye examination, and anterior segment surgery, including cataract smart lens astigmatism lenses, excimer laser, keratoconus, and pterygium treatments. They also specialize in glaucoma surgery, strabismus surgery, and oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Çiçek is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in ophthalmology, regularly participating in international and national meetings as both a speaker and an audience member. They are a proud member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, ESCRS, and Women Physicians Education Support Foundation. Dr. Çiçek and their highly experienced staff are committed to providing the best care possible, utilizing the latest technological devices to ensure optimal outcomes for their patients.
