Born in Antakya in 1979, Assoc. Dr. Süheyl Haytoğlu has always been passionate about medicine. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Antakya, he pursued his dream of becoming a medical doctor by entering Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine, where he graduated in 2003. Following his graduation, Dr. Haytoğlu began his specialization training in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Department at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital after passing the medical specialization exam.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge and excellence, Dr. Haytoğlu furthered his training by completing part of his specialization in the Department of Facial Aesthetic Surgery and the Snoring Center at Washington University in St. Louis. Here, he had the privilege of working alongside world-renowned doctors, focusing on areas such as rhinoplasty, facial plastic surgery, and snoring surgery. Dr. Haytoğlu's specialization thesis, which examined the effects of various methods on Simple Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome, was later published in a prestigious medical journal, contributing significantly to the medical literature.
Upon returning to Turkey, Dr. Haytoğlu fulfilled his compulsory service duty at Siirt State Hospital before being appointed as an instructor at Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital, where he trained specialist students in the Department of Ear, Nose, and Throat. He continued to conduct research in his areas of interest, including facial plastic surgery, rhinology, and snoring.
In 2013, Dr. Haytoğlu was accepted into the Rhinology Department at John's Hopkins University, where he continued his research and collaborated with leading experts in the field. He has since published numerous articles in international and national medical journals and has presented his findings at various scientific congresses around the world.
In recognition of his contributions to the field, Dr. Haytoğlu was awarded the title of Associate Professor of Medicine in February 2017. He continues to actively participate in medical congresses and symposiums, sharing his knowledge and expertise with colleagues and staying abreast of the latest innovations in his field.
