Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sema Koç, born in 1978 in Ankara, embarked on a distinguished career in Otolaryngology (ENT) after graduating from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. Her academic journey includes achieving associate professorship in ENT in 2013 and obtaining a master’s degree in Audiology from Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2014, where she became an expert audiologist.
Dr. Koç's professional experience is rich and diverse. She served as an ENT associate professor at the Antalya Education and Research Hospital from 2012 to 2015, continuing her practice at the Private Medstar Antalya Hospital from 2015 to 2017, and later at the Medical Park Antalya Hospital from 2017 to 2018.
Specializing in various areas of ENT, Dr. Koç excels in Rhinoplasty (aesthetic nose surgery), snoring and sleep apnea surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, robotic surgeries, advanced ear surgeries and implantations, thyroid surgery, correction of protruding ears, and endoscopic sinus surgery. Her expertise extends to pediatric ENT diseases, vertigo and balance disorders, voice and vocal cord diseases, salivary gland diseases and cancers, laryngeal cancer, oral cancers, facial skin cancers, thyroid cancers, and other head and neck surgery cancers.
