Dr. Özge Özdal Zincir embarked on her academic journey at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry (Çapa) in 2006. After earning her degree in 2011, she pursued a doctorate at the same institution's Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Throughout her postgraduate studies, Dr. Özdal Zincir focused on oral tissue pathologies, maxillofacial surgery, and dental implantology, gaining substantial clinical experience and honing her expertise.
In 2015, Dr. Özdal Zincir graduated as an Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist. Her postgraduate years were marked by prolific academic activity, including numerous articles published in prestigious journals indexed both nationally and internationally. Her research contributions were complemented by dozens of poster and oral presentations at international congresses and symposiums, where she shared her findings with the global dental community.
Dr. Özdal Zincir's dedication to her field was recognized in 2018 when she was awarded the title of MD Assistant Professor (MD Lecturer). Her career continued to flourish, and in 2022, she achieved the esteemed title of Associate Professor. Currently, Dr. Özdal Zincir balances her academic responsibilities with her clinical practice, remaining actively involved in both areas.
As an Associate Professor, Dr. Özdal Zincir continues to contribute to the advancement of oral and maxillofacial surgery through ongoing research and clinical practice. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of surgical procedures, including implant surgery, cyst removal, sinus lifts, and complex tooth extractions. Additionally, she offers non-surgical treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers, enhancing her patients' aesthetics and overall oral health.
