Prof. Dr. Ö. Taşkın YÜCEL, born in 1966 in Trabzon, is a distinguished otolaryngologist renowned for his expertise and contributions to the field. After completing his primary education at Rize Kurtuluş Primary School and his secondary and high school education at TED Ankara College, Dr. YÜCEL pursued his medical degree at Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 1989.
His dedication to advancing his knowledge led him to specialize in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine, where he completed his training between 1989-1993. Following his military service at Van Military Hospital from 1993-1995, Dr. YÜCEL embarked on a remarkable academic journey at Hacettepe University Department of ENT.
Dr. YÜCEL's academic prowess and commitment to excellence were recognized as he progressed to Assistant Professor in 1998 and Associate Professor in 2000. In 2006, Dr. YÜCEL was appointed as a Professor at Hacettepe ENT Department, where he continues to serve with distinction. His dedication to advancing the field is evident in his focus on Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, where he collaborates with neurosurgery to perform endoscopic surgery on tumors in critical regions.
