About Us

Dr. Ömer Faruk KARATAŞ is a distinguished urologist with a career spanning over two decades. Beginning in 1996, he quickly advanced in the field, specializing in urology by 2004. Dr. KARATAŞ furthered his expertise with a laparoscopic surgery program in Germany in 2005, and in 2010, he earned the FEBU (Fellowship of European Board of Urology), solidifying his standing in European urology. He attained the titles of associate professor in 2011 and full professor in 2017.

Throughout his career, Dr. KARATAŞ has contributed to various prestigious healthcare institutions, including Aksaray SSK Dispensary, Memorial Hospital – Okmeydanı, Istanbul, Turgut Özal University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, Ankara, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine SUAM (Administrative Responsible), Ankara, and Bilkent City Hospital, Ankara. Presently, he provides specialized care at his private clinic in Ankara.

His research interests focus on andrology, encompassing male and female sexual health, urinary tract issues, and aesthetic genital surgeries. Dr. KARATAŞ is actively involved in scientific forums, serving as a speaker, trainer, and presenter. He also imparts theoretical and practical training to urology specialists, research assistants, and medical students.
