Op. Dr. N. Burak Korkmaz was born in 1977 in Samsun Terme. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Samsun, demonstrating a strong academic foundation from an early age. He graduated from 19 Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in 2000, marking the beginning of his distinguished medical career.
In 2008, he completed his specialization in the General Surgery Department at Akdeniz University, becoming a General Surgery Specialist. He has participated in numerous congresses and courses, focusing on the latest advancements in his field. He has received specialized training in advanced oncological surgery and hyperbariatric obesity surgery, as well as endoscopy courses related to reflux surgery, earning him a certificate in these areas.
