Op. Dr. Lokman Bayrak, a specialist in Brain and Nerve Surgery, was born in 1980 in Bayburt. He completed his secondary education at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Anatolian High School. Dr. Bayrak pursued his medical education at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine from 1998 to 2004. Subsequently, he completed his Neurosurgery Specialization Training at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine Neurosurgery Clinic from 2005 to 2011.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bayrak has actively participated in further education and training. He attended Neurooncology Symposiums in 2009 and 2010 and engaged in advanced training sessions. Notably, in 2009, he participated in a cranio-orbitozygomatic approach cadaver dissection training under the guidance of Prof. Uğur Türe at Mersin University. In 2011, Dr. Bayrak furthered his expertise by attending a skull base surgery cadaver course training led by Prof. Necmettin Pamir. Additionally, he has attended various symposiums on Minimally Invasive Intervention, demonstrating his commitment to staying at the forefront of his field.
Dr. Bayrak dedicated approximately four years to serving at Gaziantep Dr. Ersin Arslan State Hospital, starting in 2011. During this time, he furthered his skills by attending the training on the Brazilian Neuronavigation-Stereotactic Initiative in 2013. In 2016, Dr. Bayrak assumed the role of Deputy Chief Physician at Dr. Ersin Arslan Training and Research Hospital, showcasing his leadership abilities and commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery.
