About Us

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Korhan Fazıl is a distinguished ophthalmologist born in Balıkesir in 1979. After completing his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2003, he embarked on a remarkable journey of specialization and service in the field of ophthalmology.

His career has been marked by a commitment to excellence, starting with his specialized training at Istanbul Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital, where he honed his skills in oculoplastic surgery, cataract, refraction, glaucoma, and medical retina branches. Dr. Fazıl's dedication to his profession led him to serve in various capacities, including his military service at GATA Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital and his compulsory service at Amasya Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin State Hospital.

In 2013, Dr. Fazıl achieved a significant milestone by winning the chief assistant exam at Istanbul Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital, where he served as chief assistant until 2021. During this period, he specialized in oculoplastic surgery, training numerous assistants and specialists.

Dr. Fazıl's expertise extends beyond his clinical practice. He holds a FEBO (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology) certificate and has been an active member of ESOPRS (European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) since 2019. He is also a member of the Turkish Ophthalmological Association and plays an active role in its Oculoplastic Surgery Unit.
