Assoc. Dr. Kerem Sami Kaya, born in Erzurum in 1978, is a distinguished otolaryngologist renowned for his expertise in facial aesthetics, rhinoplasty, and other otolaryngology surgeries. He completed his medical education at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and subsequently worked as an occupational physician before specializing in Otolaryngology at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital from 2005 to 2010. Dr. Kaya has a wide range of interests within otolaryngology, including primary and revision rhinoplasty, facial aesthetics (such as facelift, brow lift, and lip lift), jaw aesthetics (mentoplasty), and eye aesthetics (blepharoplasty).
Dr. Kaya is a member of the European Facial Plastic Surgery Association (EAFPS) and the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association (YPCD), actively participating in meetings and courses to stay at the forefront of his field. He has also contributed significantly to the field by serving as the vice president of the 2018 and 2019 FACEISTANBUL meetings, organized by the European Association of Facial Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Kaya's dedication to excellence in otolaryngology has been recognized through his appointment as an associate professor in 2020 while working at Şişli Etfal hospital.
