MD. Kamil Gülpınar

Prof. Dr. Kamil Gülpınar, born in Antakya in 1974, has established himself as a distinguished figure in the field of medicine. His academic journey commenced with primary education at Iskenderun Namık Kemal primary school, followed by secondary and high school at Iskenderun Istiklal Makzume Anatolian High School. Graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 marked the beginning of his illustrious career.

Specializing in General Surgery at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, he honed his skills and knowledge, earning the title of Prof. Dr. Kamil Gülpınar in 2005. Subsequently, he served as a specialist doctor at Private Ankara Güven Hospital from 2005 to 2006.

Transitioning into academia, Prof. Dr. Kamil Gülpınar embarked on a fulfilling tenure as a faculty member at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine from 2006 to 2023. During this time, he participated in the prestigious Cleveland Clinic International Observership Program at the Endocrinology and Metabolism Institute. Here, he enriched his expertise through immersion in the Department of Endocrine Surgery in 2012.

Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Kamil Gülpınar has contributed significantly to medical literature with numerous publications in both domestic and international journals. Beyond his professional endeavors, he finds fulfillment in his personal life as a devoted husband and father of one child.
