Dr. Ferşat Muhacir was born on April 14, 1967, in Tehran, Iran. After completing his primary and secondary education in Ankara, he enrolled in Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and graduated in 1992. In 1993, he began working as a resident at the 19 Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Eye Clinic. After a six-month study period at Gazi University Eye Clinic in 1996, he received his specialty in Eye Diseases and Surgery in 1997.
Dr. Muhacir then went to the United States and spent time as an observer at UCSF (University of California San Francisco). After a brief stint as a specialist at Burdur SSK Hospital in 1998, he was appointed as an Ophthalmologist at Bucak State Hospital. In 2002, he traveled to the Netherlands and Austria and had the opportunity to gain experience in modern cataract surgery.
