Dr. Emre Gönenç Baygöl was born in Bandırma and completed his medical training at Uludag University's Faculty of Medicine. He successfully finished his Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery specialization at Bezm-i Alem Vakıf University. During his residency training, he performed thousands of surgeries and was accepted as an "observer" in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin. He also conducted around 50 cleft lip and palate surgeries within a week as part of the Yemen aid program, collaborating with the "Doctors Worldwide" team.
Dr. Baygöl received the first prize for his specialty thesis titled "Reconstruction of Bone Defect in Rabbits with Mesenchymal Stem Cell Implanted Decellularized Bone Graft: Bio-Bone" at the congress organized by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Association.
