MD. Dr. Aylin Hande Gokce

I was born in Istanbul in 1979 and completed my primary and secondary education at Ataköy Medeni Berk Primary School and Ataköy Hasan Polatkan High School, respectively. I graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. I then pursued my specialization in General Surgery at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital from 2004 to 2010.

In 2010, I achieved 3rd place in the national thesis competition in Turkey and received a commendation from the Istanbul Governorship. Following that, I fulfilled my mandatory service at Malatya Akçadağ Hospital from 2010 to 2011. My professional journey continued at Esenler Hayat Hospital from 2011 to 2012, Balıklı Rum Hospital from 2012 to 2018, and Medicine Hospital (as an Associate Professor at Atlas University) from 2018 to 2021.

I earned the title of Associate Professor in March 2021 and have been actively practicing in the fields of Obesity Surgery and General Surgery in my private clinic since then. Additionally, I am married and a mother of two daughters named Eylül and Nisan. My husband is also a General Surgery specialist and an academic like myself.
