I was really worried about traveling to another country to have my gastric sleeve but dr karaca and his team made me feel at ease as soon as I got there. They do extensive pre checks before surgery which is also gave me peace of mind. After surgery the whole team could not do enough for me and still to this day 5 months post op I still have regular communication with the team guiding me on my journey. I would highly recommend this doctor and his team and can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me

So I recently took the plunge & travelled to Turkey for weight loss surgery. I can't fault the process. There was always someone for me to message with questions, & even on returning to the UK I've had constant contact. The hospital was comfortable, & clean, the nurses were sweet & attentive & looked after me the whole time I was there. The surgeon, Dr Can Karaca was excellent, & I'm grateful for his help in trying to become a healthier me. All of my travel was arranged for me, the private cars were always on time, the drivers were always helpful. The hotel was clean & comfortable, with a 24hr restaurant & easy booking in system. The coordinators do a fantastic job, they clearly work very hard. I would highly recommend choosing Flymedi & the Luna clinic if you're considering going abroad for surgery 😊

I cannot recommend Dr Can Karaca and his team enough! I travelled from the UK to have sleeve surgery on 22/02/2022 everything went perfectly! The hospital and the nursing team couldn’t do enough for you. The hospital throughout was immaculate. Dr Can’s level of care, concern and attention towards all his patients is exceptional, you’ll find he will pop in numerous times a day to see how you are doing which I think speaks volumes. Highly recommend 5*****

About Us
In 2000, Dr. Fatih Can Karaca graduated from Bahçelievler Super High School and began his medical education at Istanbul University – Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, completing it in 2006. He then started his General Surgery Specialization at the same faculty, completing it in 2012.During this time, he gained experience in metabolic surgery at Private Metabolic Surgery Clinic in Taksim German Hospital and later worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital, Şişli Metabolic Surgery Clinic, and Private Gebze Konak Hospital.
Dr. Karaca also worked as a Lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University and performed more than 1000 Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Operations from 2009 to 2017.He later worked as a General Surgery Specialist at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital and Istanbul Surgical Hospital before opening his own clinic in 2020. In June 2021, he was granted the title of Associate Professor.
