MD. Aybala Akıl

Dr. Aybala Akıl was born in 1976 at Zeynep Kamil Hospital in Üsküdar. Her father, a forest engineer, relocated frequently, so she grew up in various cities with her family. She completed her high school education at Adana Anadolu High School in 1993 and graduated from Çukurova University Medical Faculty in 1999.

Dr. Akıl began her career as a general practitioner in Aksaray in 1999. She moved to Istanbul in 2001, starting afresh with her husband. She worked as a Medical Consultant from 2001 to 2004. Realizing her passion for obstetrics and gynecology, she pursued specialization at Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 2004, where she experienced both professional and personal milestones, including the birth of her two children, Damla and Tuna.

Post-specialization, she served at Gaziantep Şehitkamil State Hospital from 2010 to 2012, establishing a new clinic and developing a keen interest in laparoscopy. She trained under Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Vardar at Çukurova University and further honed her skills in France and Belgium, including completing the “A-to-Z Laparoscopic Suturing Course” under Prof. Dr. Arnaud Wattiez in 2013.

In 2012, Dr. Akıl moved to Bodrum, joining Acıbadem Hospital. She later specialized in genital aesthetics, training under Süleyman Eserdağ at the International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery & Sexology in 2022. Dr. Akıl continues to enhance women's health and well-being with her extensive expertise and dedication.
