About Us

Dr. Alev Leventoğlu, a renowned Neurology Specialist, has made significant contributions to her field. Born in 1971 in Iskenderun, she embarked on her medical journey by completing her primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. Dr. Leventoğlu's academic pursuits led her to Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, where she graduated in 1994 and fulfilled her compulsory service.

Her dedication to Neurology became evident as she specialized in the field at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, from 1997 to 2002, ultimately earning the title of Neurology Specialist. Dr. Leventoğlu's career continued to flourish as she achieved the rank of Associate Professor in 2010 and Professor in 2015.

Dr. Leventoğlu's impact extends beyond clinical practice. Between 2007 and 2022, she played pivotal roles at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, serving as the assistant chief physician from 2007 to 2010, the Nursing School Director from 2011 to 2018, and the Head of the Neurology Department from 2013 to 2022. Additionally, she founded and led the Electroneurophysiology technician program, starting in 2014, contributing significantly to the education and training of numerous neurology specialists, physicians, nurses, and technicians.

Her commitment to professional development led her to complete the Anadolu University Health Institutions Management Program in 2013. Dr. Leventoğlu has a prolific publication record, with numerous articles, book chapters, and citations published both nationally and internationally.
