Born in 1979 in Denizli, Dr. Heval Selman Özkan is a distinguished plastic surgeon with a rich academic and professional background. He completed his education at Denizli Anatolian High School before earning his medical degree from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003.
Dr. Özkan specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. He fulfilled his compulsory service at Çanakkale State Hospital and his military duty at Izmir Hatay Military Hospital. In 2013, he joined Adnan Menderes University Plastic Surgery Clinic as an Assistant Professor. He achieved the title of Associate Professor in 2018.
While at the university, Dr. Özkan honed his expertise in aesthetic surgery and microsurgery, with a particular focus on cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. His dedication to academic excellence led him to undertake specialized training in renowned institutions, including a clinical attachment at St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns in Chelmsford Essex, and an educational stint at UZ Brussels Hospital in Belgium.
