Dr. Selcuk Guney

Dr. Selçuk Güney is a distinguished ENT specialist known for his contributions to the field and his passion for promoting nasal function preservation during rhinoplasty. Born in Çanakkale in 1964, he embarked on his medical journey at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, graduating with honors. Dr. Güney's commitment to excellence led him to complete his specialization in Ear Nose and Throat Diseases in 1996, during which he gained valuable experience at Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital and participated in numerous international training programs.

One of Dr. Güney's notable achievements includes being invited to the research group at Sade Bio-Engineering Laboratory at Tel-Aviv University in 1995, supported by the prestigious Israel MASHAV Scholarship. His collaboration on groundbreaking research in gas measurement technologies, published in the Annals of Otology Rhinology and Laryngology journal, has solidified his reputation as a leading figure in the ENT field.

In the same year, Dr. Güney furthered his expertise as a fellow at the Otorhinolaryngology service at Israel Wolfson Hospital, focusing on Functional Endoscopic Nose and Sinus Surgeries. His dedication to advancing his practice led him to become one of the first physicians to use an endovision system in his practice in Nişantaşı, Turkey, upon his return.

Throughout his career, Dr. Güney has authored around 40 publications and actively participated in various congresses, contributing significantly to the advancement of ENT knowledge. He is particularly passionate about the concept of "Functional Rhinoplasty," emphasizing the importance of preserving nasal functions during aesthetic surgeries.

Dr. Güney's dedication to patient care extends beyond his professional endeavors. He is a loving father of two children and enjoys hobbies such as playing guitar, tennis, cycling, fitness training, pilates, and gardening, with a special interest in cultivating fruit trees. His achievements include being a finalist in the Kemer Golf and Country Club tournament, receiving player of the month awards, and earning accolades at the Hilton Doktorlar Tennis tournament.
