He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and completed his specialization in Neurosurgery at İzmir Dokuz Eylül University in 2007. Dr. Akşan has served in various roles, including introducing advanced surgical techniques at Muş State Hospital and fulfilling his military duty at Eskişehir Air Hospital.

Since 2016, he has been operating his private Brain and Nerve Clinic in Izmir Alsancak, where he specializes in brain tumors, spine surgery, pediatric brain surgery, functional neurosurgery, pain management, geriatric brain surgery, and peripheral nerve diseases. Dr. Akşan is known for his dedication to patient care and advanced surgical solutions.
