Dr. Mustafa Nihat Koç, born in Konya in 1975, completed his primary and secondary education in Samsun and Konya before pursuing his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 2002. After passing the TUS exam in September 2002, he joined the Plastic Surgery Department at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital for his assistant training. He married his wife Nihal during this period, and they had a son named Efe. In 2008, Dr. Koç became a specialist, with his first assignment at Gaziantep Av. Cengiz Gökçek State Hospital, fulfilling his compulsory service.
Dr. Koç served his military duty as a Medical Lieutenant at Çorlu Military Hospital before working as a faculty member at Gaziantep University from 2012 to 2019. He was the department head for about five years and welcomed his second child, Defne, during this time. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Koç performed numerous microsurgery, aesthetic, and hand surgery procedures, trained eight plastic surgeons, and had many studies published in national and international medical journals.
Deciding to further his career as a private physician, Dr. Koç opened his practice in Gaziantep before relocating to Istanbul. Currently, he offers aesthetic services in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, alongside his wife, specializing in surgical and non-surgical procedures.
