Erdem Hocam'a teşekkür etmek istiyorum. Kallp ve şeker hastalığı olan annemin dizlerinde kireçlenme nedeniyle kendisine başvurduk. 2 dizinde 5 yıldır ağrı şikayeti vardı Ancak son zamanlarda çok arttı ve dizini bükmekte zorlanıyordu yaşı 55 ama götürdüğümüz Doktorlar artık protez yapmak gerektiğini söyledi. Yaşı genç, kalp ve şeker nedeniyle riskli ve annem de ameliyat istemediği için Erdem hocam dizine hidrojel sıvı diz protezi enjeksiyonu yaptı uygulama öncesi ve sonrası bizi ayrıntılı olarak bilgilendirdi uygulama rahat geçti ilk iki gün dizinde bir dolgunluk hissi oldu sadece. Enjeksiyon sonrası üçüncü aydayız inmekte zorlandığı merdiveni bariz olarak rahat iniyor ve dizini bükebiliyor.

Associate Professor Erdem Aktaş was born in Izmir/Bornova in 1973. His academic journey in the field of orthopedics began at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, where he completed his undergraduate education. He furthered his studies at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics, obtaining a master's degree.

Driven by a passion for advancing his expertise, Dr. Aktaş embarked on international fellowships to enhance his knowledge and skills. He engaged in clinical and laboratory studies at the Hospital For Joint Surgery in New York, USA, focusing on joint surgery. Additionally, he spent a year at the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, delving into stem cell therapy for articular cartilage, tendon, and ligament injuries.

Throughout his career, Dr. Aktaş has made significant contributions to the field of orthopedics, with a particular focus on innovative treatments. He has authored numerous international publications, delivered speeches, and engaged in collaborative research with universities worldwide. Notably, he holds a patent for an innovative stem cell application method for tendon and ligament injuries.
