Dr. Pelin ÖZTÜRK is a distinguished figure in the medical field, holding the titles of Scientist, Medical Doctor, and Associate Professor in Cardiovascular Surgery. She stands as one of Turkey's pioneering female Cardiovascular Surgeons and is a proud member of esteemed associations such as the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS), the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), the Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Association (TKDCD), and the National Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Association (UVECD).

With a strong educational background, Dr. ÖZTÜRK completed her master's degree at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, earning a position among the top 100 national ranks in 1993. She furthered her expertise through specialization programs at the Faculties of Medicine in Marmara and Aegean Universities. Her dedication to advancing cardiovascular surgery led her to work extensively on Artificial Heart Systems and Heart Transplantation, notably at the German Heart Center/Berlin.

Dr. ÖZTÜRK achieved the esteemed title of 'Specialist Doctor' in 2012, subsequently contributing her expertise to institutions like Behçet Uz Children's Hospital and Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, starting from 2015. She played a pivotal role in a team that achieved significant milestones in Artificial Hearts and Heart Transplants in Turkey, garnering recognition through numerous publications in esteemed global journals.

In 2018, Dr. ÖZTÜRK was granted the title of Associate Professor, a testament to her dedication to academic and clinical excellence. She actively participated in the Ege University Faculty of Medicine Education Commission, where she played a crucial role in nurturing young talents in the field.

Dr. Pelin ÖZTÜRK maintains a keen interest in advancing her field, integrating cutting-edge Laser technologies with her extensive surgical experience. She completed specialized training in Venice and Lubliana, earning a practitioner certificate in FOTONA Laser Systems. Today, she applies state-of-the-art treatment methods using advanced equipment at the COR CLINIC health center, situated in the picturesque Alsancak district of Izmir.
