Dr. Serdar Yüce, Assoc. Prof.

Born in 1975 in Tokat’s Zile district, Dr. Serdar Yüce completed his primary and secondary education in Tokat before embarking on his university journey at Gazi University Medical Faculty in 1993. After successfully completing his Medical Faculty education in 1999, he commenced his specialization in Plastic Surgery at Ankara Ministry of Health Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital.

Following his specialized training, Dr. Yüce fulfilled his compulsory service at Çorum State Hospital from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, he took his first steps into academia as an assistant professor at Fatih University Medical Faculty. He also assumed the role of Head of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the same hospital until 2013.

From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Yüce led the Department at Yuzuncu Yil University Medical Faculty, actively performing surgeries while also overseeing the training of assistant doctors and students.

In 2015, he attained the title of associate professor in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. That same year, he joined Turgut Ozal University, Faculty of Medicine. Since 2016, he has been a dedicated member of the team at Minasera Aldan Hospital.

To date, Dr. Yüce has contributed 40 scientific studies to national and international journals, presented 29 papers at various congresses, authored a book chapter, and supervised three theses.

He is married to Assoc. Prof. Gulbahar Darilmaz Yuce, a specialist in pulmonary diseases, and is the parent of two children, Ipek and Yigit Mehmet.
