Öncelikle Kağan bey’e ve ekibine çok teşekkür ederim. Çok Güler yüzlü ve ilgiliydiler. 2022 Ekim ayında tüp mide ameliyatı oldum ve safra kesemde de taş olduğu için onu da aynı ameliyatla aldılar. Ameliyat benim açımdan çok kolay ve güzel geçti. Enerjileri çok yüksekti. 8 ayda 45 kilo verdim ve bu süreçte hep irtibat içerisindeydik sık sık mesajlaştık. About Us

Assoc. Prof. Kağan Katar is a highly accomplished surgeon with a distinguished career in the field of bariatric surgery. His journey in medicine began at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, where he embarked on a path that would lead to numerous achievements and contributions to the field.

After completing his medical education, Assoc. Prof. Katar pursued further training in surgery, including a period of study in Warsaw. His dedication to the field was evident early on, as he began his general surgery assistantship at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital immediately after graduating from medical school. It was during this time that he gained invaluable experience in bariatric surgeries, performing many operations in a clinic where these procedures were common.

In December 2014, Assoc. Prof. Katar earned the title of General Surgery Specialist, marking a significant milestone in his career. He went on to complete his compulsory service duty in Elbistan, Kahramanmaraş, where he also took on administrative responsibilities for about a year.

In 2018, Assoc. Prof. Katar joined Bozok University, Faculty of Medicine, as an Assistant Professor, where he continued to excel in bariatric surgery. He played a pivotal role in establishing an Obesity Center within the hospital, showcasing his commitment to advancing patient care and treatment options.

Recognized for his expertise and dedication, Assoc. Prof. Katar was appointed Deputy Dean of Bozok University, Faculty of Medicine, in 2020. He also served in various capacities, including as an Ethics Committee Member, Education Commission Member, and Quality Commission Member at the university.

In June 2021, Assoc. Prof. Katar joined Istanbul Atlas University Medicine Hospital, further expanding his impact in the field of bariatric surgery. His exceptional contributions were acknowledged when he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in September 2021.

In addition to his professional achievements, Assoc. Prof. Katar is a devoted family man, married with two children. His dedication to his patients and his field is evident in his extensive experience and numerous accomplishments.
