Dr. Şükrü Yıldırım, the founder of Akumer Polyclinic, was born in 1968 in Antalya. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and worked for the Ministry of Health for 12 years. In 2003, he studied in Paris on the reduction of cellulite, local obesity, and fat with medical and aesthetic mesotherapy. In 2004, he went to China to study acupuncture therapy and completed his training at Yu-Sheng’s Chinese Medical Clinic. He received an acupuncture application authorization certificate from the Ministry of Health and later went to France for Laser training, also receiving a Medical Aesthetic Medicine practice certificate from the Ministry of Health. He is a member of the French Mesotherapy Association, a founding member of the Medical Aesthetics Physicians Association, and a member of 3 separate Acupuncture Associations. He moderated the 1st Medical Aesthetics Congress attended by Dr. Jacques Le Coz. Since 2004, he has been working as the owner of Akumer Acupuncture Clinic. He is married and has 1 child.
