The history of healthcare services associated with the copper industry is almost as long as the history of KGHM, beginning in 1964. Initially, there were only two Treatment and Prevention Facilities at the Mines: "Lena" in Wilków and "Konrad" in Iwiny. In Lubin, the Industrial Health Service began with two doctors and four staff members.
The years following saw the dynamic development of MCZ SA with new hospital departments in Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Diabetes, and the establishment of advanced laboratories in Hemodynamics, Mammography, CT, and MRI. Today, MCZ SA extends its high-quality medical services beyond the copper industry community.
Since 1995, Miedziowe Centrum Zdrowia S.A. has experienced dynamic growth, establishing new hospital departments in Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Diabetes. The introduction of advanced laboratories, including Hemodynamics, Mammography, Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), has further enhanced our diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
Today, Miedziowe Centrum Zdrowia S.A. provides comprehensive medical services that extend beyond the copper industry community, meeting the diverse healthcare needs of a broader population. Our commitment to excellence in medical care continues to drive our development and expansion, ensuring high-quality healthcare for all our patients.
