MD. Gianfranco Bernabei

I attended the University of Milan's Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and graduated with a perfect score in 1975. I specialized in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the same university and received top marks in 1978. From 1980 onwards, I focused solely on Aesthetic Surgery, gaining valuable experience as a Fellow or Visiting Professor in various international University Departments and Clinics.

I have had the privilege of attending several clinics and universities abroad to enrich my knowledge and skills in the field of Aesthetic Surgery:

1. I spent May-June 1980 at the Planas Clinic in Barcelona (Spain).
2. In May 1981, I had the opportunity to be at Prof. Guerrerosantos Clinic in Guadalajara (Mexico).
3. During the same month, I also visited Hospital Gonzales – Prof. Ortiz Monasteiro in Mexico DF.
4. I traveled to Beneficiencia Portuguesa – Prof. Jorge M.Psillakis in São Paolo, Brazil, multiple times: January-March 1983; Nov-Dec 1983; and July 1985.
5. In April 1983, I visited the Inst. Nacional do Cancer-Chir. Plast.- Dr. Ruy Vieira in Rio de Janeiro.
6. I spent time at Prof. R. Baroudi Clinic in Campinas-São Paolo in both March and October 1983.
7. The Imagem Clinic – Univers. SJ do Rio Preto – Dr. Bozola in Rio Preto – São Paolo, became my destination in October 1983; August 1985; February 1987; January 1990; September 1991; November 1992; and November 1994.
8. I had an enriching experience at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (USA) with Prof. Vasconez in January 1987.
9. Dr. Jorge Ishida Clinic in São Paulo welcomed me in February '90; week '91; Nov. 'ninety-two; and Nov.'94.
10. I also visited Dr. Liacyr Ribeiro Clinic in Niteroi-Rio de Janeiro in August '91.
11. Lastly, I was at Dr. Matlock Clinic, Beverly Hills, and the LVR Institute of America, Los Angeles, in May 2006.

I have had the privilege of attending several prestigious clinics and universities abroad, where I gained valuable experience and knowledge in the field of Aesthetic Surgery:

I have been an ordinary member of the Italian Society of Plastic Surgery Ricostr. and Aesthetics since 1978. Additionally, I became a full member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in 2002. Furthermore, I have been a corresponding member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Chirurgia Plastica since 1983. Lastly, I proudly serve as a member and advisor of the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery since 2001.
