I obtained my linguistic high school diploma in 1983 with a score of 48/60. Later, in 1989, I completed my degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Brescia with a perfect score of 110/110 cum laude. I specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Milan in 1995, achieving a score of 70/70. Additionally, I obtained the European Diploma of Hand Surgery in May 1999 in Bonn.
Following my training as a permanent assistant at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Brescia (1991-1997), I transitioned to private practice as a plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon and hand and upper limb surgeon. I have authored or co-authored approximately 80 publications in Italian and foreign journals.
Since 1995, I have been practicing medicine, specializing in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and hand and upper limb surgery. From 2001 to 2017, I served as the head of the Hand Surgery Service at the Istituto Clinico Città Studi in Milan. As of 2019, I became the Key Opinion Leader for Teoxane Italia.
