Dr. Jannis Constantinidis

Dr. Constantinidis Janni is a distinguished Otorhinolaryngologist with a rich academic and surgical background spanning over three decades. His journey began with specialty training at the Department of ENT Diseases, Head, Neck, and Facial Plastic Surgery, Communication Disorders of the Municipal Hospital of Fulda (Marburg University) from 1991 to 1996, under the guidance of the esteemed Prof. Wolfgang Draf.

From 1996 to 2003, Dr. Janni served as an attending ENT specialist at the ENT-Department of Saarland University, Homburg/Saar, Germany. Subsequently, he became an Assistant Professor in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic, Head and Throat Surgery of the Erlangen-Nurnberg University Hospital, under Prof. Iro, a successor of Prof. Wigand, an internationally renowned ENT Professor. During this period, Dr. Janni focused on honing his surgical skills in various areas including endonasal and endoscopic surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses, otosurgery, surgical oncology, trauma surgery of the Head and Neck, facial plastic and cosmetic surgery, as well as skull base surgery. He also played a pivotal role in training interns and actively participating in university committees.

From 2003 to 2011, Dr. Janni was elected Assistant Professor of the 1st ENT Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) Medical School. He served at the AHEPA University hospital, where he was deeply involved in treating patients and performing a wide range of ENT surgeries, including collaborations with the AUTH Neurosurgery Department for skull base surgeries.

In 2011, Dr. Janni was elected Professor and Director of the 2nd AUTH ENT Department at Papageorgiou Hospital, where he reformed and organized the department, laying the foundation for future clinical and basic research and innovation.

Since 2016, Dr. Janni has been the Director of the 1st ENT Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) Medical School in AHEPA hospital. He also continues to serve as a Visiting Professor in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic, Head and Throat Surgery of the Erlangen-Nurnberg University Hospital, where he conducts lectures on Otorhinolaryngology for medical students and participates in operative courses in facial plastic surgery with international participation, which he first organized in 1996. Dr. Janni's extensive experience and commitment to excellence make him a leader in the field of Otorhinolaryngology.
