Dr. Argyro Kypraiou, an ENT Surgeon & certified Facial Surgeon, was born in Piraeus and studied at the Medical School of the University of Athens. She completed her rural practice at the General Hospital of Sparta, Department of General Surgery, followed by a residency in General Surgery at Metaxa Hospital in 1996. Dr. Kypraiou then specialized in ENT at the Naval Hospital of Athens from 1997 to 2002, focusing on rhinosurgery and rhinoplasty, with approximately 3,000 cases.
She furthered her training with a clinical attachment at Wythenshaw-Withington Hospital in S. Manchester, U.K., and in Plastic Facial Surgery at UIC University in Chicago, USA, with a particular interest in reconstructive rhinoplasty. Dr. Kypraiou is the first holder in Greece of the Diploma of the International Board for Certification for Plastic & Facial Reconstruction.
A renowned speaker at conferences in Greece and abroad, Dr. Kypraiou has presented scientific papers and publications on specialized subjects in rhinoplasty and post-operative complication treatment. She emphasizes individualized rhinoplasty to match patients' features and personalities. Dr. Kypraiou specializes in primary and revision rhinoplasty, having treated about 7,000 cases, and otoplasty in children and adults, focusing on natural results. She is also specialized in restoring the ear pinna after defects or tumor removal.
