Le Dr Bruto Randone m’a sauvé la vie ! Nos chemins se sont croisés le 03 mai 2004 alors que je fus transportée d’urgence à minuit au CHU Cochin, atteinte d’un volumineux abcès appendiculaire que deux précédents médecins n’avaient pas décelé suite à des images radiologiques mal ciblées. En province on m’avait dit d’attendre que le WE de Pentecôte soit passé afin que les médecins soient rentrés… Je fus opérée dans la nuit par le Docteur Bruto Randone qui ne m’a pas caché son inquiétude devant la gravité de mon état, mais qui m’a paru tellement compétent, investi et humain que je suis partie en salle, confiante. L’opération, une laparotomie, s’est bien déroulée, les suites ont été favorables et je peux affirmer sans débordement lyrique que ce chirurgien m’a sauvé la vie. Le gastro-entérologue qui m’a suivie en post-opératoire m’a dit « Il a du avoir des sueurs froides devant un tel tableau » et le généraliste m’a dit « je pense sans excès et je pèse mes mots, qu’il vous a sauvée la vie
