I also served in various committees and organizations, including the Turkish Surgical Association, where I was elected as the President in 2016. During my presidency, I managed various training programs and organized the largest medical conference in Turkey.
Dr. Can is a General Surgeon who completed his residency at Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He served at Ardahan Military Hospital, and later became an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He spent time in the US and South Korea for professional development and clinical research in laparoscopic-robotic surgery and liver transplantation. He is currently a Professor and accepting patients at his private clinic in Ankara. He is a member of the Turkish Surgical Board and holds Turkey's first "European Liver-Pancreas Surgery Competence Certificate."
