I have been working as a surgeon for 22 years since graduating in 2001. I served a mandatory period of approximately 2 years as a General Surgery specialist at Siirt State Hospital in 2007. After that, I became a senior assistant at Istanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. I further specialized in Liver Transplantation, Bile Duct, and Pancreatic Surgery for a year at the Liver Transplantation Institute. In addition to managing the Liver Transplantation unit, I have performed numerous operations in the field of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery. In 2015, ı became an Associate Professor and established the European Obesity Surgery, specializing in Obesity and Metabolic Surgery.
