My 26-Year Journey in the Surgical Field: From Training to Expertise
Embarking on a surgical career over two decades ago, my initial step involved rigorous training in general surgery at Salmaniya Medical Complex. This marked the beginning of a transformative path that eventually led me to Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland – a globally recognized hub for plastic surgery.
Throughout my enriching five-year tenure at Canniesburn, I delved into cutting-edge techniques within aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, profoundly shaping the trajectory of my professional journey. My experiences further extended to Derriford Hospital in England's southwest.
Yet, my journey remains an ongoing evolution, firmly grounded in the pursuit of continuous medical education. This dedication has propelled me to engage in various workshops and conferences across Europe and North America. Notably, I have contributed to the field by authoring numerous papers on plastic surgery.
Central to my role is the art of transformation, whether restoring a part of the body to a 'normal' appearance or enhancing a 'normal' aspect for aesthetic allure. I collaborate closely with patients who have faced injuries, battled cancer, or confronted birth defects like cleft lip and palate, as well as vascular malformations. Within this realm, the most formidable challenge lies in reinstating what has been lost.
